Background
Application form field labels and descriptions can be modified by School Admins at any time, to ensure that they meet your school’s individual writing conventions or preferences.

Editing Field Labels and Descriptions
- Go to Admin > Forms and locate the form that you wish to modify.
- Click the Pencil/’Edit’ icon to enter the form editor.
- Go to the relevant stepper and locate the field you wish to modify.
Tip:Section headings can also be modified - Click anywhere within your chosen field to bring up the Edit Field dialog.
- Adjust the field label and description as required. For example: Using the Edit Field section, a School Admin can change the field label for Given Name to First Name, whilst adding the description Please list your child’s legal first name.
Note: When changing field labels, please consider your school’s own individual demographics and audience. Where possible, schools are encouraged to keep their field descriptions minimal and concise to ensure that their application form remains clear and easy to follow. - Once you have completed your changes, click the Update button.
- Once you have completed all your changes, click the Save button, followed by the Publish button at the bottom of the form editor.
Note: Any updates made will only be valid for new applications and will not modify applications that have already been submitted or are currently in progress.
