Why is this important?
Sometimes you may want to add additional graphics to your forms to make them look more appealing, display special information such as school boundary layers or existing bus routes, or even add the principals signature
How can I insert an image in an Apply Form?
Perform the following steps to insert an image into an Apply Form.
Step 1: Locate the Image
- Locate the desired image, such as a JPG or PNG file, and upload it to a public URL such as a directory on your website.
- Locate the link to that document, you must find the URL of the image, copy the URL to that image. You will need this URL in Step 2
Step 2: Insert your Image
These steps illustrate inserting an image that represents a School's Catchment or boundary Map. Of course, you can use any image and insert it anywhere in your form.
- Go to Admin> Forms
- Locate the specific form you wish to add an image to and click Edit
- Click the Manage Fields button on the top right hand side to open the side bar
- Navigate to the relevant section on your form where you wish to insert an image
- Click Student Details
- Click Student Residency Panel
- Click Add Custom Field
- Enter in the parameters in the dialog box
- Field Label: School Catchment Zone
- Field Type: Display Only
- Inserting your image
- Click the Insert Image button in the toolbar
- Click the Insert Image button in the toolbar
- A dialog will appear allowing you to enter the source URL for the image. Enter in the URL from Step 1 above.
- Enter in an Alternative description i.e. School Catchment Zone
- Leave Constrain Proportion on (padlock) and specify a height or width, but not both
- Click SAVE
Step 3: Place your New Image Field
- Hover over your new field and click on the drag bars to the left of the field name
- Drag the field up to where you want it to appear on your form
Step 4: Save and Publish Your Form
- Scroll to the bottom for the Form

Click Publish to ensure your changes are live
NOTE: Only forms started after the form has published will see the new changes. Any form that has already been started will not benefit from any of these changes
