What are Steppers
Forms in the Apply module are organized via six separate sections known as ‘steppers’. Each stepper refers to a specific part of a form and is designed to ensure forms remain structured and organized in accordance with each school’s individual needs.
It also presents the form in a way that is easier for a family to enter information
The Student Stepper
The ‘Student’ stepper contains fields of information that pertain directly to the student for whom the form is being submitted.
Sub-sections listed in the ‘Student’ stepper include:
- Student Personal Details (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Enrollment Details etc)
- Family Connections (Siblings, Relatives etc)
- Student Residency (Visa, Country of Birth, Living Arrangements etc)
- General (Additional Learning Needs, Court Orders, Student Needs, Classroom Funding)
- Other Information (Other Schools Applied Form, Sacraments Received etc)
- Medical Details (Conditions, Insurance, Doctor’s Information etc)
Note: Sub-section names and individual field titles can all be customized to suit your school’s writing conventions or preferences
The Parent/Guardian Stepper
The ‘Parent/Guardian’ stepper contains fields of information that pertain to the student’s parents, caregivers or guardians. Sub-sections listed in the ‘Parent/Guardian’ stepper include:
- Parent/Guardian Contact Details (Name, Contact Information, Address, Employment, Education, Fee Responsibility etc)
- Parent/Guardian Spousal Contact Details (where applicable, as above)
- Emergency Contact Details (Name, Contact Information, Relationship to Student etc)
Note: Sub-section names and individual field titles can all be customized to suit your school’s writing conventions or preferences
The Documents Stepper
The ‘Documents’ stepper will allow applicants to upload the documentation required to submit their application. This section allows for up to eight separate document areas each of which can be customized or titled accordingly. School Admins can choose to make the submission of any document mandatory or optional.
The Conditions Stepper
The ‘Conditions’ stepper provides a section for schools to list any relevant terms or conditions in which they are asking an applicant to agree to prior to submitting their application. Sub-sections within the ‘Conditions’ stepper include:
- Introduction (Text Only)
- Conditions of Enrolment (Text Only)
- Parent/Guardian Declaration (Checkbox)
- Permission Consent (Radio Buttons)
- General Consent (Checkbox)
- Fee Responsibility (Contact Detail Textfields)
- Split Fee Accounts (Contact Detail Textfields)
- Previous School Permission (Radio Buttons)
- Marketing Survey Information
- How Did You Hear About Us (drop down single choice)
- Why Did You Select Our School? (multiple choice checkbox)
Note: The form titles listed above are included merely as examples and can be changed according to your school’s preference or requirements. However, form types cannot be amended (E.g Radio Button forms cannot be changed to a different form type)
The Signature Stepper
The ‘Signature’ stepper provides a section form schools to collect signatures from the parents/caregivers responsible for the student’s application.
The Payment Stepper
The ‘Payment’ stepper allows school’s to collect any relevant application fee via two separate methods:
- Pay Later (Bank Check/Cheque, Cash etc), or
- Pay Now - instant online payment via a Payment Gateway. Fee amounts can be customized according to each school’s individual enrollment requirements
