Overview
The Conditions stepper in Apply’s Form editor allows school admins to include multiple sections of any relevant terms and conditions that are required to be viewed and/or agreed to as part of submitting a particular type of form.
This content can be changed at any time in order to accommodate a School’s changing policies or procedures.
Editing the Conditions
- Go to Admin > Forms and locate the form that you wish to modify.
- Click the pencil/Edit icon to enter the form editor.
- Navigate to the Conditions stepper section by clicking on the Stepper name
Tip: Opening up the field toolbar by clicking the Manage Fields button at the top of the form editor will give you greater control in reviewing or adjusting your conditions. - To edit an existing condition, simply click into your chosen field/condition and edit text accordingly. Once adjusted, click Update.
Tip: If editing existing conditions, this is a good opportunity to review any relevant validation settings (e.g. Are responses mandatory or optional.)
Add a New Condition
- To add a new condition, use the Manage Fields toolbar add a Custom field by clicking the + Custom option within the sidebar. This will bring up the Custom Field editor.
Tip: To match the style of the existing Conditions, recommend you use a field type of Display and enter in a label and description and then add a second custom field that is a Single choice radio or checkbox as these work well when requesting parents to agree to relevant conditions. - Add your condition title and relevant description/content and select Type = Display
- Add another custom field, but this time choose Type = Radio button or Checkbox and enter in the options for the field such as I Agree etc.
- You can then choose whether or not a response is required by updating the fields validation status (mandatory or optional) according to your preferences.
- Once complete, click the Update button.
- Once you have completed all your changes, click the Save button, followed by the Publish button at the bottom of the form editor.
| Note: Any updates made will only be valid for new applications and will not modify applications that have already been submitted or are currently in progress. |
