Overview
Student Information Systems, such as Synergetic and ICON support the ability to import a standard XML file. We have worked closely to make sure we are transferring as much information is possible from either Pipeline or Apply to these respective systems.
Exporting Records to XML
- Go to Form Entries > Apply Forms
- Select one or more records in the List by selecting the checkbox next to each student
- Click Export > Export Records button
- Create a password (can be same password every time) and press Continue
| Note: Password must be at least 4 characters including one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number. |
- Copy Password
- An email will be sent to your inbox with a link to file containing exported records selected.
- Locate the email and click on the link in the email.
- For windows users
- A window will appear with two files, an XML file and a Student List. The XML file is the one required for importing to Synergetic, ICON or SAS2000.
- Select Extract All
- Select Browse to locate a destination where you would like to SAVE the file and then EXTRACT
- Enter Password
- For Mac users
- A dialog will appear prompting you to enter in a password to extract the file
- Enter Password
- Click OK
- Switch to Synergetic, ICON or SAS2000 and follow steps to import the XML file.
