Overview
The Forms tab is a new addition to the History panel on the Student Details screen. It gives school users a quick view of all forms associated with a student — including their current status — without having to navigate away to the Apply Forms list.
This is particularly useful for identifying at a glance whether a student has an application that is still in progress, pending signatures, or has already been submitted.
Where to Find the Forms Tab
The Forms tab is located in the History panel on the Student Details screen in Pipeline. It appears as the last tab in the History panel, after the Activities and Communications tabs.
To access it:
- Go to Enquiries > Students and open the relevant student record.
- Scroll down to the History panel.
- Click the Forms tab.
What is Shown in the Forms Tab
The Forms tab displays a table listing all forms associated with the student. Each row in the table shows the following information:
- Form — The name of the form, displayed as a clickable link that takes you directly to the form details or preview page.
- Form Type — The type of form (e.g., Apply Form, Event Form).
- Form Status — The current status of the form (e.g., In Progress, Pending Signatures, Submitted). This allows you to quickly identify if any action is needed, such as a form that is awaiting signatures from a contact.
- Last Updated — The date the form was most recently updated.
- Date Submitted — The date the form was submitted, if applicable.
- Actions — The same actions available in the Apply Forms list view, including Edit/Preview, Delete, and View Latest Version.
Accessing a Form from the Forms Tab
To open a form directly from the Forms tab, click the form name in the Form column. This will take you to the form details or preview page, where you can review the form content or take any necessary action.
Forms Tab in Contact Details
The Forms tab is also available in the History panel on the Contact Details screen. This works in the same way as on the Student Details screen, but shows all forms associated with the contact's related students where that contact was the form starter (i.e. the first contact who filled out the form).
The table in Contact Details includes an additional Student column as the first column, showing the name of the student the form belongs to. This makes it easy to identify which student each form relates to when a contact is associated with more than one student.
Note: The Forms tab on Contact Details only shows forms where the contact viewed was the person who originally started and submitted the form.
