When this is Required
Sometimes when a student has previously been declined you may wish to reinstate that student with a Status that is in one of the 3 key stages; Interest, Applicant or Enrolled.
Enquiry Tracker will not permit you to simply change the status, instead you need to follow the steps below to reinstate a student.
Reinstating a Declined Student
To reinstate a declined student:
- Go to Enquiries > Students List and find the record for who you wish to update.
- Access the student’s record by clicking either Student Name or the green pencil/Edit icon.
- Click the Defer/Decline button located within the Admin Use section of the student record.
- Change Student State to Deferred
- Enter in a Reason (See Related Articles section below to learn how to add more reasons)
- Update the student’s status either to that which was previously allocated, or a new status depending on requirements.
- Select either a new starting year and year level or simply select the previous intake levels that were previously allocated.
- Slick the Save button to return to the Student Details page
