Why do I need to add forms?
Forms are the primary way to capture important information about your future families and it is essential that you have all forms running on your website. The process of adding forms was done when you were working with the Enquiry Tracker team during the first few weeks of onboarding.
However, there may be a situation when you need to add signup forms to a new site. These can be added to your website by copying the individual form code and embedding it onto the desired webpage. We recommend speaking to your website developers or IT Department to complete this step.
There are 3 standard forms in Pipeline, these are:
- Event Registration Form
- Information Pack Form
- General Enquiry Form
If you are using Apply, there is always one default form, but you can have as many different forms as needed.
Obtaining Your Form Code
Follow the steps below to get the code for a specific form.
- Go to Admin > Signup Forms
- Find the form you would like to add to your website and click the pencil/’Edit’ icon located under the ‘Actions’ column.
- Scroll down to the Form Code section and click the Copy Form Code button. See below
- Provide this code to your school’s IT Department or Website developer along with the URL of the page you would like to add the form on.
| Note: The method in which this code is added to your website will depend on your website’s Content Management System (CMS) and will vary from school to school. If you use WordPress, make sure the code is entered in TEXT mode and NOT in HTML |
