Overview

The Student Other Interests chart provides a summary of the responses to the Other Interests field on the Student Details screen.  

Since this is a multiple choice response, the data plotted also includes the average number of responses per student.

Student Other Interests Chart

The chart can be easily accessed by:

• Go to Analytics> Demographics
• Scroll down the page to the bottom to locate the Student Interests chart

Chart Features

This chart features the following:

1. Filters: By changing the Starting Year, Intake Year Levels (Grade Levels), Stage and Status the data will be updated to reflect only those students that match those values.
2. Copy Chart: Click the copy icon to copy the chart to the clipboard for pasting into another app such as a slide presentation
3. Chart Type Selector: Choose between a Horizontal Bar Chart (the default) and a Pie Chart
4. Hamburger menu:
   1. Show Totals: Toggle on/off the totals on the chart
   2. Show Legend: Toggle on/off the legends on the chart
   3. Show Unknown: Show or hide if the data is unknown
   4. Show Top 10: Only displays the top 10 responses and hides the rest
   5. Horizontal Bar Chart Only:
      1. Sort A-Z
      2. Sort Ascending
      3. Sort Descending
   6. Download PDF, CSV or XLS: Download corresponding versions of the chart data
   7. Print Chart: Download a PDF version of the chart.
