Field mapping from Enquiry Tracker to Compass

Overview

Enquiry Tracker integrates with Compass via the API, which requires the enrolments module enabled in Compass for data to be able to transfer successfully. Compass does not support transfer of any documents, just the data listed in the table below.

Mandatory fields in Compass

Compass requires data to be set in the following fields, not all of which exist in Enquiry Tracker.  This explains how these values are set

• username is mandatory for student and parent. Enquiry Tracker will set it to initials of the records first name + ID number, where is number is the ET Student ID by default
• govtCode1 is mandatory in Compass and is a Government provided identifier. Must be
  unique within the school. Enquiry Tracker sets this value as “UNK-” followed by ET Student ID
• title for student is a mandatory field . Enquiry Tracker sets ‘master’ for male student and ‘miss’ for female student
• Student Address is mandatory. The address used by Enquiry Tracker, is based on whom the student lives with
• Living Amount this value is set on whom the student lives with

Fields Transferred to Compass

Note the following:

• Area: This is the area the field is located in Enquiry Tracker.  Note that unless listed as Apply Only, all fields are in Pipeline
• Field Type: if the type contains Configurable, it means it can be turned on and off under ADMIN> EDIT school.  If any of these are off, they cannot be transferred. If the field is Conditional it means it will be displayed based on the answer to another question such as Alumni
• If field is Apply Only, it will only be included in the transfer when transferred from Applications> Applications and they will not be included if a transfer is initiated from the Student List section
