Why is this important?
If you are using Zapier to connect 3rd party products such as Unbounce or Gravity Forms to Enquiry Tracker, you may also want to add the contacts to an email sequence.
With the Add Person to Email Flow action step you can do exactly that
Prerequisite
Firstly, you need to have the Enquiry Tracker Zapier app set up with you instance of ET. See Getting Started with Zapier for more information
Adding a Person to an Email Flow
In order to make the emails work, you will need to make sure you add the Email Flow Action correctly.
Steps to follow:
- Make sure you already have the event Create/Update Enquiry set up, as you must already have a contacts added. This will come from your landing page or form
- Once you test the Create/Update Enquiry, you will find the field Contact ID in the output if the record is successfully created in Enquiry Tracker.
- Add another action step and select Enquiry Tracker app.
- Now from the events dropdown, select Add Person to Email Flow
- Select Person field in which you can either select the Contact available from the dropdown or you can map the Contact Id field in custom section from the previous step as mentioned in above points.
- Move the the Email Flow field
- Select one of the two available email flows and continue
| Note: Enquiry Tracker will only display the Email Flows for General Enquiry Form and Information Pack sequences. These may be called a different names in your own installations, but are found under Admin> Emails |
- Click Continue
- Test & Publish your Zap
